Curvy the Contour Sold!!

We are proud and sad to announce that Curvy the Contour sold a couple weeks ago. To our surprise it only took one week on Craigslist to sell her. To all of you did not know, Curvy had a hidden treasure under all her beauty. She not only ran on normal gasoline but also natural gas. This was a big selling point when we put her up for sale on Craiglist and apparently people liked it. We hope that her new owners will treat her well! Farewell beautiful Curvy! Thanks for being so faithful for us! We love you! Ok--seriously that's enough! See you later crappy car!

We Found Our Renters!

GOOD NEWS! We showed the house to a lovely couple last weekend and found out on Monday that they want to rent the house. We are amazed at how fast everything is happening. We only showed the house twice and the second people who looked at it decided to take it. They are a younger couple like us and seem to be really solid people. This is just great! They want to move into the house on March 1st--so that leaves us with less then a month to get everything packed up and ready to go.

This is the tentative schedule for the next couple months:

February-Pack up and move out!
-Dan's 30th B-day

March 1st-Daniel gives his two week notice.
-Put stuff in storage for one month
-Hang out at parents house for a couple weeks.

March 16th(ish)-Daniel and Sarah go to Europe for a couple weeks (ish)

April 1st-Moving Day

Our first house is up for rent :(

To keep you all updated on our move to the cold north we would like to present a sad moment. We are putting our first house, our baby, on the rental market. This is not just any house you guys-we watched it grow from just sticks. Do you think it will be mad when we leave it behind? Ok, ok I know-its just a house. So for those of you who have not been to our house I have posted some pictures for your viewing pleasure. And if you know anyone who is looking for a very cute house to rent, let us know. We have had a few calls and one looker but no luck yet. But we are not worried, it will all work out when it's supposed to. Here it is...

Everett or Winnipeg???

To all our dearest family and friends that have not heard our latest news, prepare for a shock--or not. We are leaving the beautiful state of Washington and moving to the Canadian prairies--specifically Winnipeg, Manitoba. Wahoo! Here we come Canada! We are going through all the emotions right now. Excitement, sorrow, anticipation. Just waiting to see what God has for us is to much to bear.

Now I know what you must be thinking...WHAT THE #%$&*%? AND WHY?

It happened last year right after New Years. We were taking down the Christmas decorations and reflecting on our lives and all the sudden it just clicked. We asked ourselves--what are we still doing here? We both got so excited about starting a new journey and felt like God was wanting to give us something different. Don't get me wrong--living in Washington is great--we have lots of family and friends and our home and jobs are good too! It is just time for something to change and that is all I can say.

The plan is to move this Spring--wow that is only a few months! It gives me butterflies in my stomach.

To all our family and friends: If you think of us say a little prayer that this move will go smoothly and that we will be able to adjust to our new home. We will keep you updated on the status of our move!
